1The minimum insurance coverages that are required to register most personal motor vehicles in Florida is $10,000 in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and $10,000 in Property Damage (PD) Coverage. For the rating examples listed on this website, the combined premium amounts for this minimum required coverage is labeled “PIP + PD”.
2In addition to these coverages, many people purchase more than the minimum required coverages, (such as Bodily Injury, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists and Medical Payments), as well as coverages for damage to their own vehicle (such as Collision, Comprehensive, Towing & Labor, Rental Reimbursement, etc.). The combined premium for all of these coverages is labeled “All Coverages”.
